Mystery Attack On Twitter

While I was playing Farm Town in Facebook yesterday, I had a hard time getting a consistent connection because it kept on giving out network error messages. I thought to myself, what gives? This is fairly odd for Facebook to have this kind of problem. I am guessing that the cause was because of an attack on Twitter that got hit by denial of service attacks. Facebook and other social networking sites appeared to be affected by Twitter’s shutdown since it runs applications through those sites.

While this kind of news is hardly surprising given Tiwtter being famous in the internet industry, who knows what motives the hackers have in doing such kind of act. It did leave a lot of Farm Town players disgruntled over the network connection problems while playing the game ha ha.
