Downloading apps for your smartphone is common practice nowadays, but most them are either free or just a few bucks.
So imagine one placer county family’s surprise when they got a bill for an App that cost a thousand dollars downloaded by eleven year old Nick Tucker.
Man … a thousand bucks is already big. You should place some precautions in your smartphone so that your kids will not accidentally purchase expensive priced apps. Even though Apple screens all incoming apps to be added to their iTunes library, and denies those expensive priced applications if they are not valid to be, it is better to be on the safe side and not risk yourself to be billed a thousand bucks by Apple or any other app provider.
