So I had a JTextPane that displays text in HTML format. The color issue arises when I disable the JTextPane. A workaround to this is to use the setEditable() method instead of setEnabled().
Then again, another issue arises. You will be able to select the text even though you cannot insert or remove characters in the JTextPane. If you do not want the JTextPane to have a selection feature if it is not editable, then only way to make it work is to override its protected method processMouseEvent().
Meet Amazing Alex! A new game perhaps? Well, not really. Do you still remember Incredible Machines? The character looks the same too. Probably Rovio bought the rights to it? If it is true, then they certainly did the game a favor.
Knowing that Rovio is a hit because of the Angry Birds franchise, having a new game different from how Angry Birds is played is a welcome sight. It also brings back the Incredible Machines gameplay back to modern times.
Alex has a boundless imagination and a houseful of fun toys that can turn anything into an adventure! From cleaning up his room to battling cardboard robots in his backyard, Alex creates amazing chain reactions to get the job done with the maximum amount of fun!
These challenges are not all easy. Some are hard, some are just downright absurd to clear. That, or I just suck at it ha ha!
With 100 challenging levels across fun filled locations, and more to come every few months or years, this game should be one of your phone’s mainstay apps.

I have to admit, this is the first time I have tried Vipre Anti-Virus software. Back then, it was always the big players like Norton and McAfee. However, their software never worked for me because as much as those applications bringing complete solutions for overall protection against virus, spyware and malware, they are just too resource intensive resulting in my PC slowing down.
I switched to lesser known anti-virus software thinking that all it really needs is an updated virus definition list to keep me protected all the time. That does not seem to be the case anymore as virus, spyware, malware and all those other bad things have evolved that a user really needs an anti-virus software that optimizes overall performance by incorporating protection modules against virus, spyware and malware into one cohesive tool.
This alone is possible if the software application is done right. I was lucky to test out Vipre Antivirus. But before that, you have to know that the current release is only for PC only. Installing the software is easy. A few clicks here and there and your system should then be protected in real time.
Now, the real test is to check out if Vipre bogs down my system or not and so far since the time I had started using it, it did not have any adverse effect on my PC that slowed it down. This is more like it considering that previous anti-virus software applications I used really were resource hoggers that it did not last long in my system because I uninstalled it.
One feature I like is the capability to schedule scans which really is a big help because Vipre can maximize the user’s time by running scan while the user may be out. I can also view history report summaries and reports, eliminate any trace of files in my PC and go deeper within the system to look at settings normally hidden by the operating system.
But the main core of what Vipre does is more than enough for me. Real time protection is very important considering that today almost all of us are online most of the time. Vipre does what it is supposed to do, all while not bringing down my PC’s overall performance.
Also, those who buy this software gets free U.S. based technical support. Pretty sweet deal right? Give Vipre a download and let me know what you think. You can find more details at vipreantivirus.com or at http://www.facebook.com/GFIVIPREAntivirus.
