Okay, so you just installed XCode 6 in order to take advantage of Apple’s new programming language Swift. Then, when you create a new project and attempt to run it in the iOS simulator, it tells you it is unable to select the destination.

Here is what I did in so the list of iOS simulators will appear:

  1. In XCode, go to Preferences > Locations
    • Command Line Tools select Xcode 6.
  2. In the Terminal app, go to /Users/YOUR_USERNAME/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData
    • delete everything
  3. Reboot your desktop/laptop

When you run XCode again and click on the iOS Device icon on the upper left side of the window, you should then be able to see the list of iOS simulators.

A few days ago, when I read the headline of an article that Google surpassed Apple as the most valuable brand in the world, it did not surprise me. They were bound to catch up sooner or later.

Google has been innovating so many different things. While Apple? It cannot be denied that they were the first who took the bold step in producing touch screen devices but after that, they have been in a slow pace.

People keep saying because Steve Jobs had passed away that Apple has not been innovating after that. I do not agree.

Just like how computers came to be, the models have been the same ever since. Only the hardware kept upgrading.

This is the same case as smartphones and tablets and Apple has been stuck with these products.

True, they have made millions because of them but again, Google has many newer things and it is only fitting that their stock value rose up.

Congratulations Google! Here is hoping those exaggerated overpriced price tags of Apple devices go down. Not now for sure but in the long run, that could happen.

Okay. So why did I call this lame? The RAM damn it! I was hoping they would boost it up to 1GB right away. Just because the iPhone 5 has 1GB of RAM does not mean they had to lower the specs of the gaming device.

I mean, if that is so, why the hell did they jump the camera specs to 5MP? That is their decision, true. And my decision is I ain’t going to get this 5th generation iTouch because of the RAM issue.

If this was 1GB, I would definitely have bought one right away. But upon finding out that it only has 512MB of memory, screw Apple. I ain’t wasting my money on this one.
