Sigh … just what is it with FireFox? I purposely used the browser because I wanted to check on all HTTP requests and responses with the sites that I surfed to. They have a pretty cool browser plugin called HTTPFox where it monitors and analyzes all incoming and outgoing HTTP traffic between the browser and the web servers.
The advantage is that you do not have to install stand alone programs like HttpWatch and IEInspector. It typically brings the functionality straight within the browser program. Still, after I logged on to a site, the browser just kept doing a lot more whatever processes it was doing.
And I was using it under Mac OSX. The Windows version is not even better. The browser is just a resource hog. I cannot wait until Google Chrome releases its own plugin to monitor for HTTP traffic. That way, I do not have to be forced to use FireFox.
