In a welcome bit of news … well, for people in the UK only actually. Its sequel smartphone of the hit Galaxy S smartphone will be available on May 1st in the United Kingdom. The press release promises a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, which indicates we’re looking at the Exynos 4210 variant of this handset and a fat 1GB of RAM, good for long term use.
This is what I have been waiting for and I am totally excited when it comes to Asia. Pretty much excited to deploy my Android app by then and hopefully make some cash from this.
Features worth noting on the new Galaxy S model number i9100: an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p HD recording and playback, Samsung’s patented AllShare technology so you can share pictures, movies, and music with other devices and Samsung’s new Kies Air which lets people manage their smartphone contents from their PC via local WiFi connections.
It also boasts a new Super AMOLED Plus screen technology, alongside the most advanced technical specifications including the latest Android OS and a dual core processor. I also heard it will pack a framed gorilla glass which is what I also like.
Now … my curiosity wants to know how much this will cost …
