I totally stopped playing this game after I continually played Naruto Shippuuden Legends: Akatsuki Rising for the PSP but it does not mean that this is a bad game. In fact, it is an entertaining one much like Dax & Jaxter although with a different set of characters and environments.
At the beginning of this adventure, Ratchet and Clank are on vacation and lounging around, when they are approached by a little girl named Luna, who wants to take some pictures of Ratchet acting heroic. He sets off to bust up some robots and the girl is kidnapped, dropping a device that points the duo toward a mysterious race of tiny creatures.
And it’s off to quest after quest after quest, some in a linear sort of way to get the girl back. Without detailing the particulars of the game’s plot, all you really need to know going in is that the game’s story is good, the humor is there and it drives the action along quite effectively. With some gizmos and weapons on hand, you move from place to place blasting enemies.
In addition to upgrading your weapons, you can earn life points as you eliminate enemies, getting you up to a total of 50. You can also collect pieces of armor and swap them out at will. If you can collect a complete matching set of armor, you will get a bonus to your wrench attacks, like fire or ice, but some of those armor pieces can be tough to find, so you will have to search around if you want some of the more advanced sets.
A good game overall. Great graphics, good music and fun gameplay.
