Taking a screenshot in Samsung Galaxy S3 is the same as in S2.

  • Press and hold the power and the home button at the same time and wait. Do not release before a confirmation pops up.

However, if you cannot get the timing right, there is another way to do it.

  • Place the palm of your hand so it covers the screen from top to bottom then slide from right to left.

Easy, right?

And just when I thought that I could enjoy my phone a bit longer, here comes new rumors that confirmed Samsung’s next Galaxy smartphone, called the S3 will sport a quad core CPU. FTW!

Here are its other awesome features:

  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI
  • 4.6 inch HD Super AMOLED Plus display
  • 1.5 GHz quad-core Exynos 4412 processor
  • 1.5-2 GB RAM
  • 12 MP rear camera

According to SinfulAndroid, the display rumor for the Galaxy S3 – 1280×720 Super AMOLED Plus – is most likely true (it won’t have Pentile Matrix).

But even so, having that much RAM plus a 12MP camera sure are very tempting features. Still, it will be many years till I plan to get another new smart phone. Unless the hardware specs will be out of this world, then I might just be tempted to get a new one early.

Aw crap. Just when I was so excited that the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be arriving in Asia by June, here comes news in Engadget that the president of Samsung’s mobile communication division is telling everybody to expect an “enhanced” LTE Galaxy Tab sometime later this year.

According to the article from Engadget, Shin said that Samsung is already in talks with US and South Korean carriers to launch the 4G tablet. He also teased a third version of the wildly popular Galaxy S handset series for the first half of 2012.

A proclamation arriving on news that the delectable Galaxy S II has just set a record for the fastest selling smartphone in Korea after unloading one million handsets in the first month of domestic sales.
